About Lingen Davies Cancer Fund
Lingen Davies Cancer Fund exists to enhance cancer care, raise awareness about early diagnosis, and provide vital support services for those affected by cancer. Over its 45-year history, the charity has successfully led major cancer appeals, funding improvements to treatment and care at the Lingen Davies Cancer Centre based at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
Beyond hospital-based care, Lingen Davies funds a wide range of community support services. From the iCan Cancer Rehabilitation programme to free wellness activities like yoga, tai chi, sound baths, wild swimming, and dance classes, they are committed to supporting patients’ physical and mental well-being during and after treatment.

Ambassadors For The Bins For Boys Campaign
Ash Plumbing & Bathrooms are proud ambassadors of the Bins for Boys campaign, an initiative set up by Lingen Davies Cancer Fund tackling the lack of sanitary disposal bins in male public restrooms. Many men experience incontinence due to cancer treatments or other health issues, yet they often struggle to find appropriate disposal facilities, which can discourage them from everyday activities.
Bins for Boys encourages businesses and public venues to install sanitary bins in men’s toilets, creating a more inclusive environment for those managing health conditions. We are actively supporting this movement and encouraging local businesses to get involved.
