Future-proof bathrooms
Designed for now. Considered for what comes next.
A handful of decisions made at the design stage cost almost nothing and mean the bathroom keeps working as life changes: children, guests, parents, injury, age. None of them are visible. All of them are worth making.
Book Your Design ConsultationThe principle
A bathroom lasts fifteen or twenty years. The people using it will not stay the same.
This is not about designing for disability. It is about designing well. A level floor, a wider shower, a wall that can take a rail later, a light that works at night: these make a room better for everyone who uses it today, and mean it will not need rebuilding when circumstances change.
Most of these decisions are invisible in the finished room. They are the difference between a bathroom you adapt in ten years and one you simply keep using.
Nine quiet decisions
What we build in, whether or not you need it yet.
We raise each of these at the design stage. You decide which to take. None of them changes how the room looks.

Lit mirrors, lever taps, wide screened showers and wall-hung basins are all choices people make for how they look. They also happen to be the right choices for a room that will last.
If needs are more immediate
Accessible bathrooms, designed to the same standard.
Where mobility, balance or care are part of the brief today, we design around the person from the outset, without the room looking like a concession.
